TOPEKA, KAN. – A Salina man who admitted receiving more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine for street distribution has been sentenced to 81 months in federal prison, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.

Jamey Allen Holub, 26, Salina, Kan., pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. In his plea, Holub admitted he bought methamphetamine from co-defendant Kevin Dale Ashcraft for distribution in the Salina area. Wiretapped phone calls revealed that the two talked regularly, arranging for the flow of drugs and money for their illegal business.

Co-defendants include:
Kevin Dale Ashcraft, who is set for sentencing Sept. 28. He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Lisandro Clara-Fernandez, who is set for sentencing Sept. 28. He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Dennis Augustine, who is awaiting sentencing. He was convicted on two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Grissom commended the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force, the Salina Police Department, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Saline County Attorney’s Office, the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department and Assistant U.S. Attorney Randy Hendershot for their work on the case.
